Public Liability Insurance will protect the Insured against claims arising from Personal Injury and/or Property Damage occurring in connection with the Business as a Market Organiser.
Choice of AUD $10,000,000 or AUD $20,000,000 Public Liability ONLY
The LIMIT OF INDEMNITY in respect of any one occurrence or series of occurrences arising out of or attributable to any one cause or event shall not exceed the Limit of Indemnity in the Schedule
The LIMIT OF INDEMNITY is to be applied as an aggregate limit in respect of all CLAIMS arising from one or the same source or originating cause.
Territorial LimitsCommonwealth of Australia.
Governing Law and JurisdictionThe law of Australia shall govern this Policy and the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in the Commonwealth of Australia with respect of any dispute or difference arising.

ConditionsOrganisers should check all stallholders, vendors, food vans/trailers, amusement operators & sub-contractors are fully insured before the event.
For markets with uninsured stallholders, organiser is to note how many are uninsured prior to the event.
As per Section 8 of the policy wording.
Main Exclusions- Products Liability for stallholders
- Food Stalls not complying with food safety certificate/licence
- Amusement Rides
- Any inflatables and/or jumping/bouncy castles
- Sub-Contractors including security personal, cleaners, maintenance workers & entertainers to arrange their own insurance
- War and Similar Risks
- Radioactive Contamination
- Contractual Liability
- Pollution or Contamination
- Advice for a Fee
- Total Asbestos Exclusion
- Cyber Liability Exclusion
Where Uninsured Stallholders are included, Organisers should ensure the following stallholders & their products are excluded:
- Second hand mechanical & electrical goods & second hand toys
- Medicines, potions, oils, fragrances & Beauty products Bicycles
- Uncooked Seafood
- Animal Feed intended for animals other than domestic pets
- Silicone Jewellery, Teething Rings, teething beads
- Any goods that could be described as hazardous, flammable or dangerous which includes but is not limited to:
- Pollution or Contamination
- Products that have been dispensed, or have been repackaged into smaller containers for retail sales
- Products sold in containers exceeding 5 litres or 5kg Explosive tools, fireworks, flammable liquid or bulk pool chemicals
- Products intended to be used in connection with the navigation, safety or controls of vehicles, aircraft or watercraft
- Parts for motor vehicles
- Medical equipment
- Guns &/or ammunition
- Model aircraft, drones
- Knives, swords or spears
- Power tools
- Motorised vehicles
- Self-balancing motorised boards and scooters
- Deep frying activities
